Supremacy of color and shape.
ZOE is the result of the first collaboration between Daria Zinovatnaya and GAN. The series expresses, in the purest way, the importance of shape and color for the Ukrainian designer. Her creations flow on a blank canvas in which textures, geometry and color planes are combined. SOOL, one of the two rugs that make up the collection, is made using the kilim technique, an ancient method that produces flat and light rugs thanks to the weft of wool fibers that cover the thread warp.

DARIA ZINOVATNAYA, DESIGNER OF THE ZOE SOOL COLLECTION
Daria Zinovatnaya is an industrial designer, born on April 8, 1992 in Simferopol, Ukraine. She graduated from the architectural Academy and received a master's degree. Since 2017, she opened her own studio in Saint Petersburg. In 2017, she received a Red Dot award for the Cherokee collection.  Since my work is based on the use of color, I wanted to make this collection of carpets bright and unusual, connecting different color planes in one composition. I think this collection of carpets turned out to be interesting and suprematistic.
