The VP Globe is the quintessential Verner Panton lamp.
We at Stardust love it so much that we have it on permanent display in our Sonoma showroom. When it lights up at night; it really stops traffic! The VP Globe is that beautiful! This spectacular luminous sphere is one of our favorite light fixtures. The VP Globe was designed by Verner Panton in 1969 and is considered as one of Panton's finest creations. Verner Panton designed the VP Globe as a luminous floating sculpture. Unique in its kind, the Verner Panton VP-Globe features a transparent acrylic globe in which five reflectors are suspended. The polished and lacquered aluminum reflectors act both as decorative elements and as diffusers for the light. This airy pendant light is a great contemporary addition to the corner of a living room or above a dining room table. This is also a great lamp when used in commercial applications such as hotels and restaurants. Its 158" black fabric cord makes it a great choice for rooms with tall ceilings. This lamp is UL and cUL listed.

This is the smallest VP Globe in Verner Panton's VP Globe series. It measures 15.8" in diameter which is a perfect size when used as a dining room light fixture. In case you have a spacious interior; we also offer the larger VP Globe (see our other listing).
