The beautiful Gilda Ornaments Pendant Lamp was designed by Enrico Franzolini for Pallucco in Italy. This lamp is characterized by its generous size and beautiful decoration. Gilda Ornaments conveys all the unmistakable elegance and has all the qualities that has made the Gilda Serries so popular. Gilda features a large diffuser and over the years has come to be regarded as a combination of poetry and formal severity. The Pallucco Gilda Ornaments version has a fireproof black fabric lamp shade enriched with a white decoration created for Pallucco by Studio OUT. The Pallucco Gilda Pendant Lamp takes 1 X 150W 120V E26 medium base halogen bulb (not included). The Pallucco Gilda Ornaments lamps is outfitted on a telescopic rod with max. 20" (500 mm) drop (features a fitting for attachment to the ceiling).

Enrico Franzolini began his career as an artist and his work was known for its expression of sculptural elegance and an aesthetic refinement. He exhibited work at the Venice Biennale, as well as other exhibitions and galleries in the 1970s and then turned to design and received a degree in architecture in 1979. Like Vico Magistretti and many other designers in Italy, Franzolini has been active across the spectrum of creative fields from fine art to architecture to the various arts of the craftsman. He uses a variety of materials – wood, metal and all the varieties of plastic – with confidence on both the large and small scale. Franzolini's work epitomizes the integrity, the technical innovation and the ingenious forms for which Italian design has long been admired. In addition to his pictorial research, he spreads his commitment between architecture and industrial design fields and over the years he has been collaborating with some of the most prestigious companies in the furniture industry such as Cappellini, Foscarini, Knoll International, Moroso, Pallucco.
