Modern Fan's IC-AIR 2, a slim-profile ceiling fan, is perfect for homes with lower ceilings. IC/Air 2 represent Indio da Costa's first ceiling fan project aimed at the North American market and serve as the launching pad for Modern Fan’s transition to next generation design and innovation. The IC/Air 2 ceiling fan efficiently moves plenty of air so you'll keep air moving, feel cooler, and there will be less need to run the air conditioning continuously. This beautiful modern ceiling fan cools in the spring and summer and moves stagnant air during heating season in fall and winter.

Modern Fan's IC/Air 2 DC is available in Bright Nickel, Dark Bronze and Gloss White finish. The 9 blades are available in your choice of Nickel, Dark, White, Clear, Ebony, Graywash, Mahogany, Maple, Whitewash and with a blade span of 56". The optional down rods (8" and 18"), coupler to combine multiple down rods and 45 degree slope adapter are available upon request. The fan can accommodate a sloped ceiling up to 33 degree. For slopes over 33 degree but under 45 degree, use the sloped ceiling adapter (sold separately). The IC/Air2 is available with a 20 watt LED light engine (90 CRI, 3000K, 1250 lumens) behind an opal glass diffuser.

Selecting the right fan, what you need to know:

The more space between the blades and the ceiling, the more effectively your fan will circulate and distribute air. However, building codes require that the blades of a ceiling fan must be at least 7-feet above the floor. Generally, we recommend hanging the fan as far down from the ceiling as is visually appropriate, while maintaining the 7-foot blade clearance above the floor. When dealing with higher ceilings, one-third the distance to the floor is a good guideline. We generally recommend one of our hugger models for 8-foot ceilings. Keep in mind that optional light kits may add several inches to the overall length of the fan.

Assembly and installation is required. Power supply must be turned off prior to any contact with electrical wires. As with any electrical product, it is recommended that a licensed electrician be hired to install your ceiling fan.
