Kartell Light-Air Lamp by Eugeni Quitllet, a modern ligh-hearted Kartell table light with a fabric lamp shade. This new Kartell design was created by French designer Eugeni Quitllet and is made by Kartell in Italy. Light-Air is essential, modern and rational yet at the same time it produces a magical effect. On the one hand the Kartell Light-Air Table Lamp is classical, rich and traditional. Yet on the other, it is innovative, transparent and ironic. It is therefore a suitable lamp for any style of home decor. It's structure is a strong graphic statement composed of a rectangular frame formed by two polycarbonate parts laser-welded together enclosing a conical parabola through which the light rays are diffused. Light air, the latest addition to the Kartell line-up, is in perfect continuity with the spirit of the brand and its essential blend of function and form. Designer

Eugeni Quitllet, born in Ibiza in 1972, where he studied design at the institute of art. In 1996, after achieving a diploma in interior architecture and design from La Llotja art school in Barcelona, he began his career by working on installations for cultural organisations, such as the Joan Mirò Foundation. He also created ephemeral objects and spaces during the "Primavera Del Disseny" design biennial (1997, 1999, 2001). In 2001 he met Philippe Starck in Formentera, and they soon went on to develop a strong partnership. They have designed numerous projects together, including the Home/Gym/Office collection (2009) and the to 'taime coat stand (2011) for Alias and several creations for Alessi and Kartell. He currently lives and works in Paris.
