This stylish Japanese paper table lamp appears as a table light sculpture and features a shade consisting of paper that has been manipulated by hand in a Japanese tradition of meticulous pulling and folding. A dramatic sculpture of brilliant, warm light, Ingo Maurer's Yoruba Rose Table Lamp by Ingo Maurer and Dagmar Mombach showcases a poetic approach to lighting design that incorporates unique materials in a spectacular form. The light source is an LED module with a cooling element that was developed by Ingo Maurer specifically for the MaMo Nouchies series – the resulting light is both soft and warm, creating a remarkable synergy with the paper diffuser. Manufactured by Ingo Maurer. For 100 – 240 volts. Dimmable.

Paper, metal, stainless steel, and silicone are combined in an extraordinary way to create the form of Ingo Maurer’s Yoruba Rose – a profoundly engaging piece that is as much illuminated sculpture as it is table lamp. Yoruba Rose is a light object that enchants through perfection and grace. The sheet of paper is almost circularly stretched on light metal wires and strives upwards. The harmonious expression of the model and the extremely pleasant light make it the ideal light source in spaces where one rests. Yoruba Rose can also be produced as a standard lamp on request. Just as in all other MaMo Nouchies, the lampshade consists of Japanese paper, which has to undergo a special manufacturing process in Dagmar Mombach’s studio. The light source is an LED module, provided with a cooling element, developed by Ingo Maurer especially for the MaMa Nouchies. The light is warm and soft, and can hardly be distinguished from conventional halogen light.
