A sculptural centerpiece for any indoor or outdoor lounge setting, the Gehry Coffee Table looks different from every angle. Its playful, clover-like shape is eye catching as well as very practical, as the four “petals” can also be used for extra seating.

The Gehry Coffee Table is part of an innovative furniture collection created by one of the world’s most celebrated architects. Frank Gehry is known for his twisting, unconventionally shaped buildings. Our founder Alan Heller was known for his ability to see things others couldn’t. When Heller approached Gehry and said, “We can take your architecture and turn it into furniture,” the result was pure magic.

This hollow single-piece form features consistent wall thickness and stress-free outer corners for supreme resistance to breakage. It weighs 53 pounds, but if you’d like to add sand for more wind resistance, there is a hole with removable plug on the underside. We recommend using dry play sand that can be purchased at most hardware or landscape material stores.

CARE & MAINTENANCE:

UV Exposure

Our rotationally molded product is manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) with UV stabilizers. All polyethylenes are susceptible to degradation upon long term exposure; the result is the material becomes brittle. UV stabilizers act to absorb, transfer, and reflect UV. It is recommended in extreme weather (defined as below 15°F and above 100°F) the items be covered when not in use to prolong the finish of the material.

Cleaning

For minor spots Heller recommends a damp soft cloth and non abrasive bleach free cleaner.

For heavier marks a mild bleach free detergent (such as dishwashing liquid diluted in warm water) and soft brush with will be sufficient. Wipe excess water off with a chamois.

Polishing & Scratches

We recommend polishing the Furniture with NOVUS Plastic Clean & Polish once a month for high traffic uses; every two the three months for normal use.

This helps to maintain the original finish and can help to hide minor scratches and wear.
