Flush Mount Cirrus Flush Ceiling Fan installs flush to the ceiling: an ideal solution for low ceiling heights. Cirrus Flush by The Modern Fan Company is part of the Cirrus Collection of flush ceiling fans by Ron Rezek. This fan is also known as a flush mount or low profile fan and does not require a downrod. The Cirrus Flush is all die-cast aluminum. The motor is a high power silicon steel unit with 18 poles, designed for long life and cool running, and is controlled by two capacitors. This modern ceiling fan efficiently moves over 6550 cubic feet per minute while consuming only 87 watts at high speed (52" blade model). The flush mount Cirrus fan by The Modern Fan Co. is easy to install, looks beautiful and works like a charm. Plus, it is very silent compared to other fans. Available with 2 fan finish colors, 3 blade finishes and optional light kits. Optional light kits include a halogen spot light which provides direct illumination (adds 2" to height of the fan), and an incandescent or fluorescent glass globe which diffuses light to provide general illumination (adds 3" to height of the fan). Several switching and control options are available for both speed and light control. Any control ordered with a fan that has been configured with an energy-saving CFL will be supplied in a non-dimming version.

Cirrus Flush by The Modern Fan Co. efficiently moves plenty of air so you'll keep air moving, feel cooler, and there will be less need to run the air conditioning continuously. This beautiful modern ceiling fan cools in the spring and summer and moves stagnant air during heating season in fall and winter. This fan features a simple, vertical orientation particularly appropriate for lofts, stores and other high-ceiling applications. The Cirrus Flush compresses power and design into a small efficient package. Introduced in 1999 to accommodate low ceiling applications, this fan has become a best-seller for people living in apartment buildings and hotel applications. With a 13" overall height and the blades 7" from the ceiling, the Cirrus Flush does not have any sloped ceiling capabilities. However, all other specifications and options are shared with the Cirrus fan.

Selecting the right fan, what you need to know:

The more space between the blades and the ceiling, the more effectively your fan will circulate and distribute air. However, building codes require that the blades of a ceiling fan must be at least 7-feet above the floor. Generally, we recommend hanging the fan as far down from the ceiling as is visually appropriate, while maintaining the 7-foot blade clearance above the floor. When dealing with higher ceilings, one-third the distance to the floor is a good guideline. We generally recommend one of our Flush models for 8-foot ceilings. Keep in mind that optional light kits may add several inches to the overall length of the fan.

In nearly all cases, our 50-inch blade spans are the most appropriate selections. (10-foot-by-10-foot and smaller) or when airflow to the area above the blades is blocked or restricted by architectural elements (beams, walls, cabinetry, etc.).

The Modern Fan Co ceiling fans do not use conventional pull chains which is a nice minimal design feature. When ordering your fan, you should select the control that is most appropriate for your fan and electrical requirements. All controls are designed for use with one fan only.

Assembly and installation is required. Power supply must be turned off prior to any contact with electrical wires. As with any electrical product, it is recommended that a licensed electrician be hired to install your ceiling fan.
