The Mac Gee was designed by Philippe Starck for Cerruti Baleri in Italy. A collapsible object to be leaned against the wall, almost to look like a ladder, an objet trouvé modified into a bookshelf.

Modular bookshelves in steel sheet with epoxy finish in matt black, white and metallic silver. A central upright supports five shelves of decreasing depth. It is designed to create an extended bookcase by lining up two or more units.
