Balconia Mid-Century Modern Balcony-Style Planter Box
Balconia a European mid-century modern balcony-style planter pot that has been in continuous production since the late 1950s. This rectangular planter box design is perfect for Geraniums, Succulents or Herbs as pictured. Regardless of the type of plants used, these modernist planter boxes are attractive and compliment the appearance of any garden space. Planters come with pre-drilled drainage holes. A matching tray is sold separately.

Please note that these planters do not come with hanging supports and should be used at secure locatons only where they do not pose a risk for pedestrians.

Balconia planters are crafted from eco-friendly recycled fiber cement (a heat, rain and frost-resistant concrete) that is both lighter weight and fireproof compared to regular concrete planter pots. Each planter is a "one off" unique piece, made from eco-friendly recycled fiber cement (concrete). No two of these will every be exactly alike. Please note that due to this peculiar uniqueness, customer must be able to accept minor imperfections that are normal for unique hand made objects.

Fiber cement's main ingredients are: cement, powdered limestone, cellulose and synthetic fibers, water and air. Because fiber is combined with cement you get all the benefits associated with sleek concrete but in a lightweight design. Though delicate looking, this concrete table is plenty sturdy and durable. The concrete-like material withstands weather and is frost proof when used properly (no standing water). It resists heat, rain, and snow while still being light and fireproof.

Our base colors are anthracite, grey, and white. Products in these colors are in stock, and available for immediate shipping. Custom painted colors from the RAL series are made to order and require a lead time of 3-4 weeks. Additional finishes and design options are available upon request.
