Designed by Fratelli Campana in 2004; the line of items titled "Blow up", marks the start of a collaboration with the Campana brothers from Brazil with Alessi. The inspiration for this design comes from a game called "Shanghai" and was created with the idea of assembling hypothetical offcuts of steel wire, welding them together to form various types of containers. The Alessi Blow Up Basket FC02 is crafted from offcuts of 18/10 stainless steel and hand welded. Measures 13 inches in diameter and 4 inches high; amply sized for containing fruit, napkins, or bread. This fruit bowl will make a great centerpiece in numerous places throughout your home, while it's a great accent piece for use in hotels, restaurants and offices as well.
